I went to a game at Eggs years ago, and the vulgar insults their “fans” hurled at my wife for her UC sweatshirt were definitely classless. Whatever, I’d rather play Dayton every year. They have a better environment, better fans that are usually sober, and none of the bs.

Tre Carroll was 10 for 34 (29%) from midrange coming into this game. He is hitting all kinds of tough shots against every defender we throw at him. Frustrating. I don't blame Wes for that.

How about doubling him? Denying him the ball. Make someone else beat you…literally anyone else. But Wes did none of these things and just let this guy kill us. Terrible

Post-game from Wes: "proud of the fight, it's early but it's why we're going to be a good team". When, Wes? When? A third of the season is over. What are you waiting for? We did all of those things. We denied the ball (remember the Celestine steal?). He cut back door for layups. We doubled him. He passed out effectively without turning it over. We tried two zones, a 1-3-1 and a 2-3. We put Abaev, Celestine, and Miller on him. When Day Day got switched onto him, he back him down and scored. Nothing was working. Dude just had a great game.
