Consecutive TOs and missed free throws = old habits -- as is a loss

What a ridiculous choke job by Miller and co. today. 3 consecutive turnovers in clutch time today. This game was there for the taking. This program is dissolving like a urinal cake.

No moral victories as they lose at home -- I mentioned in another thread we needed 40 minutes of **** not 37. It matters not what scheme you have if you don't give 40 minutes of ****.

and at least 4 turnovers, day day passes up open 3...no moral victories, but if we play that down to the last possession, I'd have a bit of hope, but...I dont...

If this was the beginning of the season you could be encouraged but alas it's just another loss and again moral victories won't get you into the tourney. Where was this effort all year? And of course Miller's teams never can finish. That's coaching! Great atmosphere today at the Shoe. The fans showed out and demonstrated how they are starving for a winning program.

Houston is just the better team. Baba forcing his dribble for no reason and getting it stolen, followed by Jizzle going Kobe and trying to drive right into their big man for the O-foul was the game. Then Baba gets to the line and bricks to free throws. Back to back bad plays, not really on Wes. Your players are at one level, Houston's are at another level. 65-60 with four minutes left, either you man up and make plays or you make stupid turnovers and the superior team eats your lunch.

Accept it....it's going to be a long year rooting for the 12th best team in the Big 12.

Post game comments by CWM sounded like a man who knows his job is at stake. Talked about the inability to finish, made excuses for injuries and said the team hasn’t played together that long. I’m not buying it Wes. This falls on you and your staff to coach the ability to finish into the players. Thus far you have not done it. I don’t want to hear excuses. Get it done or get out.

I was there. Our team played their butts off, and at the end they were out of gas, the best effort I’ve seen from a Wes Miller team. After they played their butts off, I heard boos from some of the asswipes in the crowd, which really honked me off. No wonder CWM was so pissed in the postgame, I was too.

The team did play there butts off. But a fan can only take so much disappointment from a Wes Miller Team!

5yrs of being out coached, lack of effort, low BB IQ wears on a Diehard Fan after a while. The team played well, and then fell apart in the last 4mins.

Houston had the same depth we had, so I can't use running out of gas as an excuse. As one member said, if this was early in the year I would be encouraged.

I think this will be his final year as Bearcat Coach. I also wonder what lingering affect this game will have on the team going forward.

sadly the effect may be more tos and missed free throws.
