I'm writing this because we have two games coming up on Peacock. 1/14 vs Colorado and 1/17 vs #3 Iowa St. I'm not a Peacock subscriber so here's my strategy. Sign up for one month for $7.99 and cancel after these two games.

This was in addition to the surprise I got finding out this weekend that I didn't have access to FOX sports channels without a live TV package. Fox One is $29.99 a month and there's a free 7 day trial out there if you need it later in the year.

The ESPN unlimited bundle with Disney+/Hulu is at $39.99 currently. There is a package for ESPN select out there for less but it doesn't give you all the channels and ESPN+

In addition we have several games coming up on CBSSN which I thought we had escaped. the season finale with TCU is on TNT.

Good luck everybody. I get what Yormark is trying to do here from a window coverage standpoint but it sucks for the non local fans trying to watch the games. I'm about to go the pirate TV route.

Given the quality of play/results, this will be an easy excuse for many not to even bother watching.

Getting to the point where the pirate route might not just be cheaper, but easier too.

I draw the line at Peacock! I am not paying another dime to watch this team. Consider this, both games UC will be the underdog and both will be losses. I already subscribe to ESPN Plus and have Fox Sports / CBSSN on Cox TV down here.

If this team was winning and looked like a Tourney Team, I would have gladly paid.

peacock has wrestling and the old universal monster movies----although I don't watch them except for the "wolfman". I guess I have been blessed as so far I have access to all.It is my entertainment as I can no longer get out much. Local restaurants basically but my wife can't drive at night very well and I can't drive anymore.

Yes its very unfortunate that the quality of the product that's been placed in front of us these past few years does not warrant paying for all these streaming services. Couldn't come at a worse time. There were a couple of brothers who tried to fleece the working man of Cincinnati and it didn't workout for them. You get the ugly stepchild treatment when you are the perennial basement dwellers of the conference.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a separate category on this forum to discuss TV and streaming? Everything from the usual problems with getting something to work right, to ways to work around the gouging by the providers.

I'm on an IU forum and they have a cord-cutting thread that's been going on for years and it's hugely popular/active
