It also helps to have 7'2" Center who is obviously going to be 1st Round NBA pick.

The offense flows best with Tillery on the floor.

Sorry, but the refs aren't costing us this game.

Cats just bog down because they don't really run an offense.
And Arizona did a great job just not letting anybody have an open 3 point shot in the second half.

Shon Abaev does not jump straight up when he shoots his jump shot, he jumps sideways towards the basket. It is very fundamental that not jumping straight up makes shooting much more difficult. I can't believe they are not coaching him how to shoot.

And a lot of time Celestine makes a move to get open, but when he spins, he spins in the wrong direction and does instead of a 90 degree turn, he seems to take 270 degree turn.

The reality of this night's game is #178 in offense. Just can't hit the shots you need to stay in it.

Outscored after halftime 44-24. Adjustments made by AZ coaches. None made by UC.

The problem is that they are both undersized for this game. That is going to happen against most of the good Big 12 teams.

Nonsense. We got our butts kicked by a better team. Our small guards couldn’t match the size of their guards, and our skinny bigs were no contest against the far more physical Arizona. There is no scheme to account for that. AZ talent is just that much better. My only real gripe is we quit at garbage time.

Agree Longtime for the most part.
Which begs the question- what the **** does their Monster factory look like ?

This team reminds of all the worst of what we had under Cronin. I don't care how well you defend. If you can't score you're going to lose most nights when you are up against a team that plays average or better defense. That's the way the Bearcats were (for the most part - exceptions being SK and Cumberland) under Cronin. Same thing I'm seeing now. This team has no credible consistent offensive threat. Especially from outside.

I really thought this team might have "turned a corner" the last five games and figured some things out. It was all fools gold.

Arizona got to the rim 29 times and the free throw line 28 times. They had 6 players with 3+ rim attempts. It's not just that they have better players. Their scheme is set up for drives through the lane or baseline. They attack the basket relentlessly. We only got to the rim 13 times. Outscored by 26 there, the entire margin of victory. We scored a dismal 51 points in 65 possessions, just 0.79 points per possession. Easily our worst output of the season.

Abaev was our best player, finally hitting some shots. 8 points from the field on 7 shots plus 5 for 5 at the line and a positive DBPM. Celestine was second best, scoring 7 on 6 shots. Baba was third best, scoring only 10 from the field on 13 shots but added 4 for 4 at the line and led with 6 rebounds. Tillery was the only other player with a positive BPM.

Day Day was our worst player, scoring just 2 points on 8 shots with a game high 3 turnovers and a rare negative DBPM. Rough game for him. Harris was second worst, going 0 for 4 from the field with 2 turnovers and 4 fouls in just 14 minutes. Thiam was third worst, scoring 2 from the field on 7 shots with a game worst negative 3.1 DBPM. He got abused by Krivas most of the night.

Exactly! I had to walk away with 7mins to go. I'd seen enough in the 2nd Half.
