Other power conference schools with coaches on the hot seat, taken from Trilly Donovan's site (but the text is mine)
- Arizona State -- Bobby Hurley is in his 11th season and has only made three NCAA Tournaments (never past the first round); ASU is 11-11 and 2-7 in the Big 12
- Boston College -- Earl Grant is in his 5th season and has only one year above .500 (20-16 in 23-24 / NIT second round); BC is 9-12 and 2-6 in the ACC
- LSU -- Matt McMahon was a rising star at Murray State, but the Tigers finished 14th and 15th in the SEC in two of his first three seasons and are currently 14-8 and 2-7 in league play
- Oklahoma -- Porter Moser went to a Final Four and Sweet 16 his last four seasons at Loyola; OU won 20 games the last two seasons (NCAA 9 seed a year ago) but are 11-11 and 1-8 in the SEC
- Providence - After a great run by Ed Cooley, Kim English took PC to 21 wins two years ago to 12-20 last year and now 9-13 (2-9 Big East)
- Syracuse -- Jim Boeheim was going to be a tough act to follow (and SU was already trending down) but Adrian Autry went from 20-12 in year 1 to 14-19 in year 2 and currently 13-9 (4-5 ACC) with Tyler Betsey's dad apparently criticizing the head coach on social media last week
Others to keep an eye on:
- Dayton (obviously not a "power" team but this one surprises me)
- Kansas State -- Jerome Tang led KSU to the Elite Eight three years ago and now last in the Big 12
- Pitt -- Jeff Capel turned things around some but his headed towards a 7th missed NCAA Tournament in 8 years (made the round of 32 in 2023 but still needed to go through Dayton/First Four)
- Rutgers - Steve Pikiell did an incredible job but the Knights have struggled three years in a row (including last year with two top 5 NBA draft picks); Rutgers' money issues may be the only thing to save him
- Wake Forest -- Steve Forbes has had a few solid seasons at Wake including 25 wins in 2022 and 21 wins the last two seasons but they are in the ACC basement
