I bet you all of the barbecued ribs in Memphis and Kansas City that when the 20-point lead that UC had in the second half got down to 6 points, every member that watched that game said to themselves; these guys are going to #%@* up another game. However, a weird thing happened. UC kept on scoring. I do not have a box score yet so I cannot go into particulars.
There are some members that think that this win is insignificant. It is not. This is a big win for UC. UCF has Q1 wins over Texas A&M, Kansas, and Texas Tech. UCF, until today's UC loss, had no Q2, Q3, or Q4 losses. UC beat soundly a pretty good team today. Admittingly, UCF's defense is not that good. However, assuming that UCF does not tank the remaining games on the schedule, this UCF team is projected to be a #6 seed in the NCAA Tournament. So, I say that this was a good win for UC (Q2).
I do have one question. Is there any chance in heaven that UC can get to the NIT? Not unless some miracle happens, this UC team ain't gonna make it to no NCAA Tournament.
Is the NIT a possibility?

Kenpom has us at #57 and we did beat #2 Iowa State. I would think NIT is highly probable. I don't really know anything though.Originally posted by leeraymond372@gmail.com View PostI bet you all of the barbecued ribs in Memphis and Kansas City that when the 20-point lead that UC had in the second half got down to 6 points, every member that watched that game said to themselves; these guys are going to #%@* up another game. I was one that said the typical slide was to come and posted it at the ten minute mark. So yea color me surprised. But we all got that nice warm fuzzy feeling back when they did beat Iowa State too. If they do make the NIT and I hope they do, it would be by the skin of their teeth and even then some more wins are needed. . They could always win the B12 tournament but I wouldn't bet on that.
