  • BYU 3/3 9:00 ESPN2 (Senior Night)

UC hosts unranked BYU tomorrow night at Fifth Third Arena.

The Cougars were 16-1 (4-0) but have gone 4-8 since, including dropping 3 of 4 since senior Richie Saunders got injured in mid-February -- though the first two games w/o him were a 7 point road loss to now-#2 Arizona and a 10-point road win versus now-#6 Iowa State. The Cougars, however, lost by 21 total points last week against UCF and at WVU.

BYU, UC and WVU are tied at 8-8 in the Big 12.

    The Cougars are led by:
    - Freshman phenom AJ Dybansta (24.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists)
    - Baylor transfer Robert Wright (18.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists)

This is a Q1 home game for now. And UC may be favored.

UC will honor seniors Jalen Celestine, Baba Miller and Day Day Thomas + Grant Darbyshire... Not listed are Jalen Haynes (presumably will medically redshirt) and Kerr Kriisa (might have another year somehow).

The TV analyst for ESPN2 is none other than the infamous former Arizona guard Miles Simon...

The line opened at UC -1.5; O/U 152.5. [I don't bet, but there it is: UC favored.]

There are about 300 tickets left via gobearcats.com (17 downstairs, ranging from $155 to $990; upstairs, $59 for corner benches; $79 for chairbacks).
