MO just reported that this has been in the works for over ten days. We discussed that and its effect on recruiting quite a bit in here.

For what it is worth, Utah State assistants Mantoris Robinson and Ben Asher + chief of staff Paul Molinari were on staff with Jerrod at Youngstown State -- so potential guys to keep following him

Malutic reports Calhoun is bringing longtime Chief of Staff Paul Molinari with him to Cincinnati. Expect multiple Utah State players to come with the coaching exodus as well.

I want that 35 just a frosh , thin but he can play. He is very entertaining.

              lol Gobearcats we posted together.

Be interesting to see if 8 million in NIL is enough to keep Thiam, Tillery, and Abaev or if CJC even want to keep them.

Top Utah State players who appear to have remaining eligibility:

Mason Faslev, a 6'4 guard from Utah who just completed his junior season -- 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists + shot 39% from 3 and 76.4% from FT line this year

Karson Templin, a 6'9 big forward from Texas who just completed his junior season -- 8.8 points, 4.2 rebounds in 19.0 mins/game

Adlan Elamin, a 6'9 lean forward from Virginia who just completed his freshman season -- 6.7 points, 3.1 rebounds (13 points, 7 rebounds in 30 mins versus Villanova in NCAA Tournament)

The easiest hire JC will ever make. Lets hope it was so obvious that even he couldn't mess this one up like he has the other 2 big hires.... Happy day. I don't like Satt either but I think he deserves another year since he has improved season over season... but his seat should be getting very warm too. I would be upset if Satt got a big extension like CWM did. Good luck to Wes, I think he will definitely thrive better back in his home state where he belongs. I expect Calhoun to bring a tourney bid within a year or 2.

Faslev recorded a BPM of 8.9 this year, which would have been best on our team, beating Baba Miller.

Templin and Elamin both had 3.4 BPM, which would have been top 5 on our roster.

I'd welcome any of them with open arms.
