Illinois exhibition game

[bearcated]

I'm not clear here. Is the Illinois exhibition game part of the season ticket package, or is it another one of these extra buy in games?

[fmirzamd]

Is this game on any TV?

bearcated To my knowledge its not part of the ticket package. However, I can definitely remember when the exhibitions were part of the ticket package, so If you'd like a definitive answer i would call the ticket office.

fmirzamd There is currently no TV outlet listed for this game or the Oakland exhibition at this time.

Illinois is not part of the season ticket package. Season ticket holders do get tix for the oakland game.

NO sooner did I post this than the season tix showed up the next day in the mail (yes I do get paper tickets but that doesn't stop me from looking at digital). It looks like the first game I get is American. Doesn't seem to include Oakland. Go figure.

There will be neither TV nor video stream of the Illinois exhibition. Per Chad Brendel, there will be an audio stream that can be accessed via gobearcats.com, just as with the game last week with tO$U. Mo Egger and T-Nel will be on the call.

The Illini are loaded, although one of their key players is out, injured. They are expected to battle with MI State for the B1G title and are capable of a Final 4 run. This will be a big test for the Bearcats. Jerrod Calhoun said some time ago that he wants this team to go through adversity and, if they lose such a game, he can learn how they handle it. Both teams are expected to rotate virtually their entire rosters throughout the game on Saturday.

Hastings seems to get to the rim and the team can create according to Terry. The defense is starting to get beat some towards the end of the half

And a few highlights here: HIGHLIGHTS: Illinois 105, Cincinnati 96 in Exhibition (10/17/26)

Hastings 4 dunks on pick and roll - this offense should be fun - I worry about the defense- how strange for a Cat fan to have those fears. It is nice to expect team offense instead of wretched hero ball. I do want some bearcat toughness on defense.

Well, based on yesterday we will in fact be able to score-and it's an exhibition where both teams were running all players in and out so defense took a back seat (in a different car going the opposite direction). It's still an odd situation to say the least with MJ Collins playing yesterday even though the situation seems tenuous at best.

Interestingly, Brad Underwood called out fans for not selling out to support what he says will be a tournament team. Hard to really expect that when they are not including some exhibition games in the season ticket package. bearcated I do see the Oakland game in my season tickets-they sent an email at some point saying that it was being added so maybe try checking again?
