what I like is here a 30 point scorer and double figures in assists. No hero baller for sure. He will be fun to watch. I can't wait.

Illinois coach Brad Underwood hopes Cincinnati fans show up for the Bearcats after Saturday’s exhibition at Fifth Third Arena:
“I was disappointed they didn’t have a sellout, didn’t have a packed house,” Underwood said. “On a Saturday afternoon with a football team on the road, I was hoping that group deserved to play in front of a lot of passionate fans, which I know Cincinnati has.”
Underwood also called the Bearcats “a really good basketball team” and said they’ll be “fun to watch as an NCAA tournament team.”

Really Brad? We've got 4 years of futility to shake off. Not to mention an ongoing dumpster fire of a football program. I have season tickets for both but I'm not shelling out even more money for a practice game.

When you see these full houses for exhibition games, it’s usually where exhibition games are part of season ticket package.

If I was close by and had the health to sit through the game, I would love to go. Heck, I love any Bearcat BB game. I will admit I had a hard time listening to the radio. I am sure if we had our regular play by play man it would have been easier. In previous years, I even came to Cincy to watch Bengals pre-season games. Of course I couldn't wait to see Terrell Owens in person. He did ham it up too. Plus we enjoyed coneys at the stadium. I get them sent in pouches but there is nothing like the soft bun and a Cincinnati Sporting event. I mean what's up with a Pork roll sandwich and watching the Jets or a slice and Rutgers. I miss the BiG East as we could go to Rutgers. St. John's and Seton Hall and watch the Cats. I will admit NYC food is pretty good. At Rutgers there is a place called RU hungry and they have giant sandwiches combined with everything.Oh to be 20 after a night of celebration and seeing that at 2 in the morning.
