are we entertained

[London 'Cat]

CJC must have delivered quite a halftime speech. The ‘Cats have defended exceptionally well in the second half.

mental adjustments work most every time

2nd half effort was exceptional. Felt like we were watching classic Bearcat basketball again.

they clogged the lanes on defense. I enjoyed watching that. When they play team defense it is poetry in motion. They are athletic on offense. I like several players and i am looking for their development. Tejeda looked like a bearcat.

Much improved FT ahooting from the previous Wes Miller years.

....and the Cronin years...and the Huggins years. Hopefully Calhoun's teams break the trend of poor Bearcat FT shooting. It's been one of the most frustrating things to watch over the years.

Coach said that during the first half, there were too many "me shots". He said that kept them from getting into their offense.

Nothing is a given in todays landscape, but I like the idea of Perryman, Fleming, Mahaffey, and Iweze as a very solid young core group.

The announcers last night said CJC has 8 players who averaged over 80% from the FT line and 2 more who averaged over75%

Bearcats are 25.5-point favorites.

Spot on. Sometimes I can't believe how good these lines are.

we all know how bad the cats have been on FTs - hopefully, this will really help this year, as they get into some close, league slugfests.
