I'm sure it's going into the conference coffers. Doubt any of the schools will see any of the money. The big key is going to be the new TV contract possibly with NBC SN.

EDIT: Looks like UC is getting some of the $$$. Hopefully, they divide it up fairly with the FB schools receiving a larger chunk.

One could argue the non-football schools are not impacted by this at all.

The biggest tangible impact involved football scheduling. In an already undersized league, the departure of WVU puts a strain on all remaining schools to find replacement games.

It's hard to make the same argument for the other sports being impacted. Basketball schedules will remain more or less the same. Total number of league games will remain unchanged next year...and the exact times/dates aren't known yet anyway. Most other sports don't play full Big East schedules, so the exit of one school is not a huge deal. (Example - UC's track/cross country will still run against Xavier, Miami, Dayton, Ohio U, etc... WVU leaving has little impact here)
