#Tulane press conference at 1 pm in Wilson Ctr today. Expect this to be announcement about joining Big East.

He's the beat writer for the Green Wave. Then he said to check this link in a little bit for the full story. It's not available yet.

It is now. Not surprising, but this is looking like the old C-USA. Who's next UAB, Southern Miss?

According to report by @ScottDKushner, Tulane is joining the Big East. Press conference today at 1pm.

EDIT: Joe Schad is now reporting it, so it's true. Wow.

Remember you heard it here first, the new name for the conference:

        Great Big Metro USA Conference

What's the phone number of the ACC's office?

Kind of hard to keep the faith on the future of the Big East Conference, no? This is a joke. Tulane does nothing to help the conference.

This is the kind of news that has me itching to talk Reds baseball.

When do pitchers and catchers report?

With Tulane and ECU joining the "new" Big East, they will be playing with old friends from the CUSA: USF, UCF, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Louisville and Cincinnati.

That makes 9 teams from CUSA. Who we missing? Army? Anyone else?

Hope this isn't the big bombshell coming out of the conference meetings this week - what a letdown...

Nah, the big bombshell will be when Boise withdraws.

You can give it a patriotic name, but it still sucks.
