What ever came out of the BEast meeting in Texas this week? Any word?

Nothing at all. A press release basically saying they had a productive meeting and wouldn't give any details at this time. A few of the ADs have said it went well and one (Memphis, I think) said more would be known in the next 2-3 weeks.
Sounds like they are planning something, but it isn't finalized. -
I took some time and did a google search. I did not learn anything new but here are a few of the links.

Summary is that the BEast expects for TV contract in Feb. SMU is committed. Speculation that SDSU will remain. The big 4 (BIG, Big12, SEC, PAC) will be in the National hunt in 2014.
