UConn Says They're No Longer Chasing Other Conferences

The Huskies are trying to put the best face on reality, in that they're stuck, at least for now, in The American. They claim not to be chasing any other opportunities. Maybe this is just their public stance, but I can't believe they aren't maintaining contact.

Hopefully, Ono and Babcock keep beating UC's drum. If UConn wants to yield the field, let them.

(Please pardon my spelling error. The title should read "... They're ...")

I don't believe that for a second, but just like the Bearcats, they are stuck too. It doesn't do them or UC any good to keep saying they want out of the AAC asap, but both will jump in a heart beat when the time comes. It may not be as soon as we want, but I honestly believe something will happen in the near future.

That's their public stance, but I'm sure privately they are still angling to get out of the AAC as are we.
