I thought the NCAA had to make a decision in July about the number of teams in the Big 12--conference championship game etc. This would have an effect on maybe the Big 12 wanting to add 2 teams. Has this decision come down?

Rock, I can find no evidence that this has been decided by the NCAA at this point. There are lots of articles about the requested waiver the Big 12 asked for but none of them mention a decision.Brent Wyrick

the ncaa generally takes its' sweet time. the more interesting thing is all of the chatter from the conference heads(including big 12) lately that points to busting it up. sometimes i wonder if they are not trying to force the ncaa's hand.Comment

Heard rumors that they will wait until after the bowl season. I guess we'll see.Comment
