The original exit fee was 15 mil ... they got it reduced to 11 mil because they had given the BE notice when they thought they were leaving for the BIG12. Rutgers is trying to get their exit fee reduced to 10 mil. D'ville has a rider in their agreement that if Rutgers gets out for less than 11 mill they get a refund of the difference.

That theoretically would put them in position to take a jump to the Big 12 instead and possibly screw us over. The Big 12 would be delighted if this were to happen becuase they have all but admitted they whiffed on Louisville.

Big 12 is not the SEC, but it is probably stronger than the Big 10, especially after the Big 10 adds two more bottom feeders.Fire Scott Satterfield

Ya, far from over because most everybody expected North Carolina to uphold the suit, but when that is finished, nothing will happen because then Marylands countersuit, in their state, will go on and they will pretty much come up with the exact opposite of what the North Carolina court came up with.. The problem is neither court is impartial in this process... if anything California, Oregon, or Washington should be where these preceedings are decided so they have as little vested in what happens in this scenario as possible.
