  • New developments?

    http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...d-of-directors

Even though alignment is probably not over, it makes me nervous to see all of these new decisions and developments with UC being on the outside looking in.

Looks like the Northwestern players really have the schools running to make some quick changes.
Not to be a debbie downer, but it's not all good attention.

Who cares. It is national attention. UC's basketball program needs attention in just about any way it can get it.

Do the changes only affect the Power Five Universities? That's the way I read it, but hoping I'm wrong.

If I'm wrong, Shabazz will still go to bed hungry.

        Jim Brown rips 'reprehensible' NCAA

Comments made during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Fan Fest:
"The NCAA is probably the most reprehensible organization God ever created," the Hall of Fame running back said at a roundtable discussion on the NFL with Barry Sanders and Harry Carson on his right and host Larry King on his left. "Total exploitation. The kind of money they make, the kind of life they live, it's embarrassing."

"I'm totally for change and total change," Brown said. "And I think that body needs to be torn apart and put back together with everybody's best interests in mind."

There was an article in USA Today on Wed. that was an interview with the BIG commissioner. He basically said that the focus of the big 5 now is to amend rules and not to expand.

Also, the football top 100+ countdown is on if someone wants to track it for UC.

Makes perfect sense. Classic cartel strategy. Same thing with OPEC colluding to set oil prices.

Jim Delany has a tendency to talk ,ahem, B1G and say stuff he shouldn't. This might be the truth but don't be surprised if one of the other commissioners comes out and says hogwash.

This article has been on-going for years. It has the history of all the conferences and of the expansion. It says that it was last updated in March 2014 but I can not see where. I do not know if it will be of interest to anyone out there other than to see the timeline given......

                Another from Feb. 2014. http://www.sbnation.com/college-foot...nference-moves

Non of this is good for UC.
