MAC would be perfect from a distance standpoint. I could easily drive to most of the away games.
Not to be a debbie downer, but it's not all good attention.

Who cares. It is national attention. UC's basketball program needs attention in just about any way it can get it.

The travel is not that big of a deal for the team/school as they will most likely fly to most destination, but the same is not true for fans and the smaller sports.

Thanks for ACC or Big 12 - I'd take either of them at this point.

This is a misconception. Most of the "Olympic" sports play regional schedules, with conference championships at the end of the season. Even for the P5 conferences, the Olympic sports don't generate enough revenue to justify the travel.

Either way if they are flying commercial out of CVG they are getting hosed. Regularly ranked one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive airport in the country.
"In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel." - former colleague to Jim Tressel as quoted in Sports Illustrated.
