Big 12 and Pac 12 talking strategic alliance

In an effort to upgrade their non con schedules, the Pac 12 and Big 12 are trying to negotiate a deal where they would strictly play each other in the non conference portion of the football schedule. Someone pointed that this type of thing usually results in school poaching by one party or the other. So it looks like the wheels could be turning on future realignment here. Betting the Pac 12 goes after Oklahoma and Kansas or maybe even Texas.

I'm not real sure playing Pac 12 teams is much of an upgrade these days in fball or bball.
