Jim Delaney will step down on B1G commisioner when his contract expires in June 2020. The expected replacement is the Northwestern AD, Jim Phillips. I do not know phillips thoughts on realignment or playoff expansion but not having Delaney around for realignment , if it comes, will be interesting.
