I don't see where anyone has posted this or commented on it before but thought I would throw it out there. The article is full of interesting ideas but I don't see it happening. The bill proposes that the Power 5 combine all revenue and expenses with the Group of 5 and anything left over the players would get 50% at ALL 10 FBS conferences for money making sports. This would be football, men's and women's basketball and baseball. The new panel would be ran by 9 people that the president would appoint. I really don't want politics coming into the college athletics. For example, would the president appoint people that would favor states that he/she wants to favor?
