    Deleting your own posts

I recently accidentally double posted the same post to a thread (hit back and submitted again.) and I've also made a mistake and had to edit my own post to delete what I've said. I've not seen a way to remove a post on my own after I've submitted it . Does the vBulletin have this capability? Am I missing something?

That's a dangerous feature for a message board to have. Might be useful for cleanup purposes, but it would also be really easy to say something, but there are certain credibility issues that arise. It'd be too easy to say something stupid and/or inflammatory, rid yourself of any evidence of it, and claim it never happened. You can sort of do that anyway with an edit, but edited posts are tagged.

I would recommend editing it with the words "double post - sorry"
