    I consider these pros:
    - Subscribe to a thread - this will let you know what threads you have posted in if you have selected automaticaly subscribe
    - Ignore lists - if you don't like what someone says or how they say it then you can ignore them
    - rate thread - as mentioned before it is a way to show your opinion of the person's posts by rating it.
    - Display mode - you can have oldest at the top, newest at the top, a hybrid that shows the "reply tree"
    - If you still want to recieve emails you can. User CP has many different options.

    Cons:
    Haven't ran into too many yet outside from the fact that some once a week users may have trouble with the online.
    - Have to hit a button for quick reply...seems not-quick to me

    Yeah, I am not crazy about the 'quick reply' procedure either. I am still tweaking this so it may change.

      Also noted PM's are limited to 10. That is 5 received and 5 sent if you keep any history. I presume this is for space saving purposes, but I was wondering if this could be increased.

        It is something that I set at 10 from a knee jerk reaction. I suppose bumping it to 50 or 75 would be fine until I can gauge how much it is used.

          Keith, etc.

          - what determins a hot thread. I don't know if you could adjust that, but if it is based on replys some of them with one reply are showing up. Another small thing.

            It appears that the "hot" marker may be influenced by how often a thread is viewed. I'll take a look at this.

              I have changed the hot thread thresholds to this:
              Views >= 2000
              Replies >= 25

                Quick reply no longer requires a button press. The edit box at the bottom of a thread is now active.
