Email Msg Board?

Just thinking and wondering if it would be possible to incorporate email with a web based message board. Or rather if it is feasible.

What if I got a daily email (as I did this morning), and I wanted to reply to something via email, but have it posted to the board. Would this be possible or am I crazy even thinking about combing the two functionalities. I am trying to look out for Richard.

Thanks Jon, I need all the help I can get - for instance, and this will be to Mike's liking, I can't even figure out how to get the smilies from the list of them next to the message area into the message. It's bad to be old when tremendous new technology comes in to play. (Put sad smiley face here)

Richard, while typing in a reply, all you have to do is click on the smily to the right such as the sad face or perhaps you feel more confused.

They will be added to wherever your cursor is at the moment you click.
