Are they really thinking Samaj Jones has a shot to play early? If the kid from IU doesn't pan out, I'd think Drogosh has the best shot at PT, yeah even over Brady L. As to the defense, it's hard to predict what Tyson Veidt will do as the new D Coordinator. He is still finding his way around campus and meeting all of the players.Round up of Big 12 recruiting for the 2024 class. Samaj is pretty good from what I've seen of his tape. It'll all depend on how things pan out in spring ball and camps. If those two are a clear head and shoulders above, I'd expect Lichtenberg to transfer unless he really wnats to stay here.

One random thing I'll add here is that Drogosh is from Texas. They grow QBs on trees down here and have a cottage training industry built on around it. If someone can tell me the last time there was a successful team in the Big XII that didn't have a Texas QB on the roster, I'll give you a cookie.Last edited by Lobot; 02-14-2024, 08:11 PM.Brent Wyrick

Things are quite different these days but remember Tony Pike never played and he considered quitting or transferring. However, he stayed and became a star.Comment
