247sports.com just published Simmons's composite ranking as 3*, #122 player in GA & #1145 player nationally.

While Darius Simmons has no rating at this point, he has a fairly long list of offers. Most are from G5 schools, but also SC. Memphis, Tulane, USF and Troy are among the G5 schools.

It seems like uc has really beefed up its scouting / recruiting / etc dept. they'll need to find some under the radar guys. hopefully, this young fellow is one.
