  • Tar'varish Johnson 2023 Transfer WR

As mentioned, Johnson is a speed guy and track athlete. Nice speedy addition tom to the WR corps. He has some experience from his Freshman year at Auburn but action was very limited due to injury. I think he'll get plenty of reps in this offense both receiving and on the ground in end around type situations.

Dang. Just saw that. I guess portal transferees can commit, but di they sign LOI or a grant in aid? What is the process? When do we know if portal commits are actually coming/signed?

I'm of the opinion of don't let the door hit you on the way out on this one. CU has a whole 20 scholarship players left plus what ever they add in the portal and actually sign. Sure there's more playing time there but you're playing the whole game with little or no rest if you go there right now. I have to think this whole Colorado thing isn't going to go the way Sanders thinks it will.

Sanders is "firing" players left and right. Not a good look. We will have to wait and see if it works out for him. The PAC has a policy that if a 4-year scholarship is promised, the player will receive the scholarship. Colorado is working around it by telling the fired players that they still have free tuition but no football.
