Drogosh is headed to the Elite 11 camp very soon. Visited last weekend and boom.

The staff has been after Covey for a while. Pure athlete at 6'0 185. Probably need to add weight for college but we can fix that. For some reason the recruiting services didn't rate (didn't see him?) but don't freak out because he's the real deal and had several P5 offers. We beat ISU and Minn for him. He still had visits scheduled for the next two weekend at those schools. It' still an unknown whether he will cancel them.

3 star rated T Joshua Gregory has committed. 6'7 270. Probably adds weight with Brady Collins. Not sure whether he projects at LT or RT but he definitely has the size for the Big XII which is what we're looking for in the trenches.

Ty is rated as a 3 star wideout and top 25 player in Ohio.
Perkins appears to be in the pattern of Alec Pierce at 6’3. He’s a Multisport Athlete.

Apparently they score the QBs and Drogosh finished at 11. He had less experience than the rest of the QBs at the camp and based on the other competitors at the camp, I'm not sure this should be a big deal.

I think the issue whether he can get playing time here vs. IU because to be to be honest IU hasn't accomplished much in football since since the 50s Rose Bowl and later with Antwan Randle El and probably won't as long as they're in the current makeup of the Big 10. I thought they had a real shot to do so last year and that fell apart on them completely.
IMO, Covey would be better served by honoring his commitment and competing here rather than going to IU. In this era, if you don't succeed, the transfer portal is available later. We're the better program right now and we've proved it on the field head to head.

Simms decommitted from BC last night and immediately committed to UC today. He's a sought after edge rusher that should be able to get to the QB with regularity.
