Josh (through Todd) is posting on his blog it is Darrin Williams. We are getting recruits with talent in June. Wow. I don't know what to say other than wow! And we beat Michigan State. I guess I have to say that.

Go Football Bearcats Go. B K is the man. How can you not help but get excited about Bearcat football. Last year this time I believe the Bearcats might have had one recruit.

I say a huge thank you to Bob Goin. He rightly saw the need to get into a BCS conference and did the preparation needed so that when the opportunity arose, we were ready.

I remember some who questioned making the jump (Bearcat Chris), but this recruiting class is a direct result of moving into the BE.

I think it is also fair to say that the coaching change is an additional factor. I think atleast 2 of these recruits were being recruited by MSU. If MSU had hired BK and not Dantonio, I expect we would not be having the same success.

So some kudos to Mike Thomas for hiring BK. At the time, I faulted MT for not working harder to keep Dantonio. While I think Dantonio is a fine coach, it sure looks like Mike Thomas made the right decision to allow Dantonio to follow his dream and then hiring Kelly.

Hopefully, the fan base will step up. It would be great to see a sell out this year at Nippert! Hopefully the UL and/or the WVU games will sell out. Both teams travel well so that will increase the possibility. It would be nice to have one for the OSU game. (If we call it the OSU game we might get some people there who don't realize it is Oregon. Some of the OSU fans, and even some casual fans aren't the bright. )

It could well be that this season is the one that gets us over the hump.

          Go Cats!

I will agree that Dantonio wasn't the best recruiter for Cincinnati. He needs a larger University where kids will come there for the tradition. Currently UC's class is much better than MSU's.

Unfortunately, Waco Bearcat (on the other boards) beat you to it

To me it is not a race, but a festive spirit that we should all join in. And I am proud to follow one Waco Bearcat who is a proven fan for many years. May I always follow him in such a great fashion!

You know, Jon, I have nothing at all against Dantonio. He did OK here, improved the program, and it's in good hands now. But, what I AM enjoying about the fact that MSU's recruiting is off to a slow start is that those arrogant MSU fans (who polluted Bearcat Insider after the coaching change) are probably hating life about now
