Ok, so I typically write one of these every year about tailgating, so here I go again. I'm sure that there are a lot of changes around campus since the 2013 season. I use to tailgate in the lot behind Martino's. Does anyone have any insight as to what lots have closed or what new lots are available? Also, I was wanting to hear from anyone who tailgated in the Medical Campus lot previously. I'm not a fan of the grid... I would prefer to do a lot if possible. With the night games that we have scheduled, it might be a really fun year.

You should be able to tailgate behind Martinos again.
There is a tailgating crew, Republic of Cincinnati, that usually sends out a general invitation just before the season starts and for any away games they attend. Past years, at home, they tailgated behind Bogarts. I put a link to their website.
U.C. is sponsoring both Rooftop Tailgate and Grid spots, if interested call 513-556-0543. In past years, Bearcat Tailgater set up on the grid. They usually extend an open invitation. They also have a website - http://www.bearcattailgater.com/

Thanks Cpawstoney! I did find this on the UC parking page. Some of the information may be outdated since it still says 2014 and I know that they didn't do the block party on short vine last year.

I'm still looking to see if anyone has tailgated at lot 22 on the medical campus. Has anyone been there before? Do the shuttles come regularly? How is the overall experience?Comment

I'm pretty sure Republic of Cincinnatiwill be moving to the Grid for this years tailgating at home... love the grid so can't wait for the season to begin.Comment

gobearcats: Tailgating Options Still Available
The Campus Gridiron Tailgate, also known as The Grid, is nearing a sellout of both season and single-game passes.
Rooftop tailgate season passes are exclusive to UCATS members at the MVP level ($750) and above and cost $350. Single-game passes are available for $100 and are available to anyone, making them prefect for group outings.Comment

I hope people who won spots in the alumni lot will use them for actual tailgating, and not show up 30 minutes before kickoff to park and walk to Nippert. What a waste of parking space. Only 50 spaces in taht lot and almost half go unused for tailgating.RickComment

Bearcat Tailgater - http://www.bearcattailgater.com/ and Republic of Cincinnati http://www.republicofcincinnati.com/ - are both on the grid this year, we are right next to each other in "The Alley" of the grid.
