Football on Friday next week. This Friday, UConn goes to Provo. I'm going to attempt to watch tonight and try and get some scouting in. Mainly a passing team without Taysom Hill. Team only has 415 yards rushing on the season. Tonight might predict what kind of crowd will be there next week. Cougars had trouble filling the stadium for Boise State a while back.

Watched BYU play and beat up UConn last night. UConn is much improved, but was easily beaten. Backup QB for BYU is very good. Very strong, accurate arm. Good team speed and good D-line for BYU.

If this game were here, I'd be more confident, but UC is riding high, and UC is better than UConn, so my prediction is:

    UC: 28
    BYU: 27

Relax, you should have more confidence as you won't have to wait in line for the bathroom.

Coach, that may be the dumbest post you have ever made.

The ECU visit to Provo this Saturday night should provide an interesting matchup. The game will be at 7:30 ET, and will air on ESPNU. I won't make a prediction until after I see that game.

Still, BYU have to be better than they were in Ann Arbor (31-0 to MI). Beating UConn at home was no real test. Unlike the Huskies, the Pirates can score a bit. We may as well root them on. Then again, maybe it would be better for UC to face a stronger-appearing Cougars squad after they beat ECU.

Maybe the potty lines are handling 15k more fans.

That's part of it. I think they made more women's potties too.

This is the only stadium I've attended where there is no or little line for women's restrooms. If the goal is to limit binge drinking, it will work. I will not drink another beer at the Nip. I'll make sure to empty my bladder before the game and sip the bottled water I bring into the stadium so I can yell and only get a little sore throat the next day.

You can bring in bottled water? First game, mine was confiscated mine at the (west) gate, even though it was unopened!

I guess we can only share our experiences we've had but in all 3 home games I've attended, I've never been in a line to go bathroom more than 5 minutes...... I even used the trailer one once... it was the longest I've dealt with, after that I always go to the one next to the underground concession there in the Northwest corner of the stadium, always get in and out in that one.

At halftime, I ran upstairs from 106 and got in line at the men's room near the tennis courts. It seemed long, but moved very quickly. I was in and out in about 5 or 6 minutes.

I used to dread using the men's rooms in the past, but I'm satisfied that this is better.

How about the hot water in the bathrooms this year!!! It was so nice and unexpected after years of freezing my hands washing them at the Nip!
