USF beat up on Temple last night 44-23. Temple was never really in that game after the 2nd Q. This game suddenly got interesting in that USF is not as bad as everyone thought they would be this season. They are in front of us in the division standings and If Temple loses again, they have a shot to play for the conference championship if they beat us. USF ran up 326 yards rushing in that game with 230 of it from Marlon Mack. If we don't stop the run in this game we will likely lose. They have similar stats in the run game to Houston.

Folks, I have a very bad feeling on this. USF has a chance to play in the championship game..... UC has been very "sloppy". I hate to vote against UC, and wouldn't if the game were here, but I must:

    USF: 38
    UC:35

This UC team has been like Jekyll and Hyde this year.........decent at home (except for the Temple game), but sloppy and mistake prone on the road. The obvious, biased officiating against us on the road this year has only made things worse.
However, even with some of our better teams in the past we have struggled at USF. It will be interesting to see how we react when the bad calls start.......because you KNOW it's going to happen.
I'm sticking with my earlier prediction that we drop the final 2 road games to finish 6-6. Hope I'm wrong.

This game is a real concern. We have played sloppy every game this year, and it has been good enough to win six games, but the better teams on our schedule have taken advantage. USF is playing well toward the end of the year and blew out Temple last week. To win we have to play our first clean game of the year, no turnovers, no stupid penalties or blown assignments; do that and win. It also would be nice to see the AAC officials have a clean game as well, which we have also not seen all year.

bains: Previewing The UC Bearcats v. The South Florida Bulls
The Bulls have simply found a way to turn it on at this late juncture in the 2015 football season and pose a very difficult challenge for the Bearcats. Cincinnati pasted South Florida at home 34-17 last year but they’ll have to play about as well as they have all season to escape Tampa with a victory on Friday night.

sptf: Bulls Face Key Matchup Ahead With Cincinnati
We could be in for another offensive showdown between South Florida and their opponent. The Bulls are averaging 29 points per game on offense while the Bearcats are averaging 38 points per game.

tbo: Things are looking up for once-beleaguered USF coach Taggart
People are treating Willie Taggart differently these days. The University of South Florida Bulls are winning again, heading to their first bowl game since 2010, even contending for a conference championship.

stpete: USF should outlast Cincinnati for 7th win
But one of the more impressive in-season turnarounds has occurred for the Bulls, who have now won six of their last seven. That first-year quarterback is Quinton Flowers, becoming more a playmaker all the time. That tailback is Marlon Mack, who leads the American Athletic Conference in rushing. That defense has turned feisty.

Another road game.........and another disastrous performance. Penalties, turnovers, mental errors, you name it.

South Florida coaches and players are laughing it up on the sideline.
Our football program is so lost right now it's really sad.

At what point do people start clamoring for a new HC? Tubby is awful.
