Hopefully by not having the gun and not knocking the victim over and by cooperating with the police, his sentence will be reduced. Regardless, admitting to trying to steal pot does not look good.
Agree. Both BBall and Fball have done a nice job in recent years of cleaning up their act, and keeping the kids out of trouble. The only thing worse than what Thomas did is if we somehow rationalized it and kept this kid around. Besides, if he was successful in securing pot either for himself or to sell, more trouble would probably be brewing. Hate to see it, its unfortunate, but Fick needs to set an example and establish rules that are not flexible. After all we don't want to emulate "everything" about o$u, just the good things.
This kid had promise as a player, but he's too much of a loose cannon. At present, he's suspended, but probably only because that's all that UC can do at this point. I can't imagine a scenario in which he remains enrolled at UC, especially in light of security camera video and his own admittance.
This hurts the team in the short run, but he didn't consider how this could impact his teammates. Next man up.
