CLF reported in his presser today that Charles McClelland tore his ACL & is out for the season. Also, James Wiggins "tweaked" his knee and is seeing a specialist. Nothing further to report.

McClelland tore the ACL in his left knee in practice and is done for the year according to Luke Fickell.

James Wiggins has in fact "tweaked" a knee in practice yesterday and will see a doctor today according to Luke Fickell. This is not as severe (so far) as what the rumor mill kicked up this morning which had him done for the season with an ACL. We'll have to wait for the doctors for more info.

Stinks. McClelland's big play ability will be missed. I know the running back position is deep, but McClellands speed was something the rest of the backs don't have.

Just saw in another post that Thomas is out the first two games and is now back practicing with the team.

It's a great opportunity for Ryan Montgomery to step up. Local kid from Franklin who redshirted last year but was a top 50 kid in the state in 2018. He had a lot of p5 offers(Msu, Purdue, Nwest, Ky, Iowa st.) and he's more in the versatile back mold than Doaks and Warren. Next man up. Kid was a very good back coming out of hschool.
