    Ohio State 9/7 12:00 ABC

Noon start in the horseshoe which is probably a good thing from a crowd noise standpoint. Not sure we have the depth to pull this off despite the improvements since the last time we played them. Any time we go up to Columbus, they tend to wear us down after halftime even if we play out of our minds in the 1st half. Having Ryan Day as the HC rather than Urban Meyer is probably good thing for us. Some of our guys like Blue Smith worked under Day's offense and can probably give us some defensive pointers.

If you want to scout, they're playing FAU as we speak. Not sure sure you'll learn a lot as FAU is already down 28-0 in the 1st Q.

No line on our game yet

I'm going to the game and I've been to all of them up here since 2004. They always go the same way with us having a good 1st half and giving us hope and then we get steamrolled in the 2nd half. So exactly what Lobot said. Maybe Fickell will pull some magic but I doubt we can compete the full game. Their bench warmers would be starters on most AAC teams so they wear you down with depth.

We haven't beaten them since 1897 so over 100 years later we should be due for a W lol. It's sad that over 126 years we have only played 16 games. With how close we are they should be playing every year instead of Miami(OH).

OSU took their foot off the gas in the 2nd Q and it's looking like it might bite them a bit. FAU has all the momentum in the 2nd half. The TE down the seam play is open all day. They switched to a zone D this year.

28-6 OSU. All punts since the 1st Q

No players will be made available to the media prior to this game per Luke Fickell. Fickell wants the focus to be on what they are doing in prep for Saturday. Fickell himself stated that he would be focusing on the same thing and not worrying about this being a big return to Ohio Stadium for him.

Anyone going anywhere local (Cincy) to watch the game? Would love to be surrounded by UC people.

Any updates on Gerrid Doaks status for the game? I heard he is day to day with an injury from last week. Would be nice to have him healthy for this one given McClelland's injury and Thomas' issues.

There is no update on Doaks that I’m aware of. Fickell didn’t/wouldn’t address it T the Tuesday presser.

With Luke Fickell clamping down on the local media for this one, the Dispatch has a few articles to look over.

Ohio State Buckeyes, high school and professional sports news coverage, scores and highlights for college football, NCAA Basketball, NHL, MLS and more.

                        Predictions from Fletcher Page

In this Ryan Day interview it gets mentioned that OSU is down several rotation players

Taft's Brewporium will be having a watch party. Half price pints after every UC touchdown until their next possession. This is the one on Spring Grove Ave, not the Ale House, though it is affiliated. Bearcat Journal peeps will be there.

Doaks is out indefinitely with a knee injury. Tavion Thomas is not available. We’re going into the game with Warren and Montgomery. Let’s hope they both stay healthy.

Now everyone’s back tracking on Thomas. He’s dressing for the game. Probably gets some runs in in an emergency situation
