UC needs to win at UCF, and finally beat Memphis. Our out of conference schedule will allow us to sneak into the top 8-10 if we are undefeated. 10-18 is a likely end of year ranking, with closer to 10 if undefeated, and 18 if we suffer a good loss, i.e. ranked opponent on the road or highly ranked Memphis at home. The competition is tough in the AAC, and we should be one of or the best G5 team. The defense returns a ton, plus Wiggins. The much aligned offense will be vastly improved with a healthy QB competition and more solid O-line. Doaks is going to have a monster year.

We really need to win at Nebraska. We get beat bad there & it is a big negative for us & the conference.

So, we've been asking for the respect by the polls and now we seem to have it. Hopefully, we stay in the top 25 for most of these polls come the beginning of the season. If we do, we just have to win! I think all of our games should be winnable, including at Nebraska. Our team loses a few players, but I think we improve with experience. This has been such a young team the past few years that now they should be ready to play up to their potential. Win the games without any hiccups or bad loses (Eeked by ECU last year) and we should be in good position to make the NY6 bowl.

I second recommendation to get this subscription. No ads. Great analysis. This isn't a place to get scores or breaking news. This is a place to get in depth understanding and new perspectives on the back story. Justin does a fabulous job for Bearcats. The Reds stuff also great. There is a good breakdown on G5, P5, and pretty much any major sports or teams you wish. Lots of good reads.
