It doesn't. It also eliminates Memphis from the AAC Championship. We're locked into UC vs Tulsa regardless of what happens to Tulsa today and next week. Honestly the only reason why either school should want to play next week is that Tulsa would have to give up a home game and come to Nippert for the CCG which probably won't fly.

Early 2nd: Tulsa 0, @ Navy 0. The Cats could lose another Top 25 foe, if the Midshipmen prevail.Last edited by swilsonsp4; 12-05-2020, 05:27 PM.

We really need Tulsa to win that game to keep our SOS up. We need to beat another ranked team this year... hopefully twice. Otherwise BYU wins today and possibly passes us

Scoreboard for this week:
The Tulsa at Navy game is a bit important for the conference.

If he plays McKenzie, then he could lose Dillon Gabriel who has two (or three) more years eligibility. tough call on a great story, but probably best for McKenzie to transfer and transform a program to show any NFL team he is worthy.Originally posted by Lobot View PostUCF’s McKenzie Milton is in the transfer portal. I guess Josh Heupel isn’t going to let him play at all?

I’m trying to find a link here but apparently, the Tulsa Navy game has some importance for the AAC championship. If Tulsa were to lose this game and also lose to UC on 12/12, you then have scenarios where Memphis or Houston could end up in the Championship depending on how things fall. Neither of them played Tulsa this year so there’s no head to head tie breaker. Memphis wasn’t scheduled to and Houston that game postponed last weekend.

USF got the ball back, but immediately fumbled. The Knights took advantage and scored quickly, then found paydirt again. The Bulls tacked on a late TD. 58-46 final.

10:10 4th: UCF 45, @ USF 38. Bulls just scored after picking off Gabriel deep in UCF territory.

Nevermind, Houston can’t get it together on Covid. Postponed.Originally posted by Lobot View PostConference slate for the holiday weekend. Tulsa at Houston on Sat. at 12:00 looks like a good one. For some reason the war on I-4 is on ESPN proper on Friday

Have no idea when they are going to play that game. Navy plays Tulsa still in there somewhere.

UC can’t be left out. The Cats clinched a berth in the champ game with the win @ UCF. It’s just a matter of opponent & site.Originally posted by red_n_black_attack View PostAs we come to the closing weeks of conference play, who would you rather play in the AAC Championship? Tulsa or SMU. It is possible Houston wins out and gets the nod. Tulsa could lose out and SMU could be the new front runner even with two losses. With tie breakers, it's unlikely UC gets left out base on wins over Houston, Memphis, and SMU. Assuming UC finishes regular season undefeated, who do you want to face in AAC Championship at Nipper? My pick is Tulsa because they are currently ranked could get two more solid wins before we play them. Houston would be my second choice, meaning Tulsa and SMU have multiple losses. I'd like to play as highly ranked a team as possible and Tulsa losing to us shouldn't drop too much in the rankings.

Tulsa, because they are the only ranked team currently. Also hoping they allow some fans into Nippert for the championship game... I think it's feasible since students will be gone
