    There's definitely going to be major belt tightening but I can't imagine there would not be a waiver under the circumstances if we have to cut more sports.

    Stanford just cut 11 sports but had about 30 to begin with. One of the reporters and I can't remember who, pointed out that a lot of schools are using Covid-19 as an excuse to get rid of underperforming or marginal sports and to reorganize their departments.


    If you are really concerned about the dept's budget shortfall, I'd recommend you watch this video from our AD John Cunningham and help out if you can. I did so yesterday.

    So let me ask this question. IF we do not have football this fall. How does UC stay D1 eligible? I don’t see any way possible UC is able to stay over the 16 sport limit to be D1 Eligible. I believe we are currently at 17 or 18 sports.

    The B1G looks like they’re about to announce conference only games for the fall. This will kill our buy game payday at Nebraska. Really unfortunate. Probably also kills the return game in Cincy.

    Houston was already mentioned for football workouts as well.

    I'm just trying to get all this stuff in one thread folks. I put in the football forum becuase football is the budgetary workhorse.
