He lost his starting job mid-season to Jake Renfro, who was a true frosh. He most likely saw that that situation wasn't going to change. Robinson played in the Peach Bowl only because Renfro was hurt.

I hate this from a depth perspective but he’s a senior. I’m sure he wants to play. He was on the Rimington award watch list before Renfro took his spot. He’s not exactly chopped liver as a center

He has to go where he can play. He wasn't going to see much time behind Renfro and he's good enough to play for someone for sure. I had "traitor" on the tip of my tongue when I first saw that. Since we don't play Memphis this year, I'm ok with him. I was shocked when he was healthy for SMU and didn't start. Guy was on the Rimington watch list coming into last season and got beat out. ?!?
