I recall an image from the Peach Bowl where Justin Harris (CB) stood alone in the end zone watching Georgia during the trophy presentation, and the tweet from Chris Milton (@fatherofballers). I know we have a loaded secondary coming back, but I liked to see him watch and could tell he was looking at it with the passion of "that is what I want for my team". I hope to see him get on the field and make some noise this year.Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

I went over to NIppert, along with perhaps 1500 others. UC ran basically three teams on each side, on the field in descending order, as one might expect.
The D, particularly early, was dominant. Passing was difficult. Ridder missed some long throws to open receivers, although in at least one case, he was under duress.
Surprisingly, there was only one flag, which was for the third team D for being offsides.
Individually, Ford showed flashes and speed. Evan Prater forced a ball into triple coverage, with Ty Van Fossen making an athletic interception that he ran back about 60 yards to near the goal line. Van Fossen also rocked a ball carrier over the middle. We weren't provided rosters and there was no PA system, so it was difficult to pick out newer players. A receiver, #17, who ran mostly with the third squad, made three excellent catches.
The only punts came at the beginning, before the actual scrimmage started. Mason Fletcher had one weak punt, but his other two were good. He's certainly tall and thin.

#17 is Marquez Bell according to the roster. He's a soph.
Here's the current roster. I invite everyone to sort by the position column and look at where all the LBs are from.

Me and my cousin went down to the spring game. The team looks fairly big and fast, but it was very hard to evaluate individual players using the format that was displayed today. It did seem that Desmond continues to struggle with longer passes. I wish they would go back to a scrimmage like format, that has been used in the past.
