He definitely helped his already valuable stock with that rundown of the Ucf running back from behind on Saturday. That was impressive as he closed about 10 yds and that kid is fast. Lot of pro scouts saw that. Difference maker.

According to Sports Reference we peaked at #4. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb...ls/cincinnati/

My point was that this is not our highest ranking ever, as the article claimed.

Glad he didn't go with Heinz and switch to 57.

…”He was plenty busy. Even with Gardner and Bryant throttling down, a slew of young, promising defensive backsmanaged to snag a half-dozen interceptions during practice that day, including a pick-six, after which Gardner led his crew to thump on the offense’s celebratory touchdown drum.

“Yeah, the offense didn’t like that,” Gardner said proudly. “Coach (Mike) Denbrock came over and told us he didn’t like that at the end of practice. I was just boosting my teammates up. I wasn’t out there as much today, so I had to motivate them to keep doing what they were doing. It paid off. We all ate.””

He had to have been extremely disappointed to scratch for that Georgia bowl game. I don't know if his back bothered him all year, but that was a killer for a lot of reasons.

I didn’t realize he has yet to allow a TD - Hope he crushes it during the ND & IU games in front of a huge audience

I'd say he will be the best defensive player outside of Trent Cole to come out the last 25 years

I'm kind of shocked myself. I didn't realize we didn't. He'll be among the top 4 corners taken so first round is definitely possible. Other than that, I'm not going to jinx him.
