This is really good news. Most sites I saw had him as late 2 or day 3 TE. I think he’s in for a strong season and huge move up the draft boards.

Seems like a good move as far as draft stock goes. At the start of the season, seemed like he could be in line for at least a 2nd or 3rd round pick if he continued to perform at a high level and rack up big stats. Good chance to impress next season.

Both UC TEs are returning, but I believe the TE recruit was from Louisiana and UC's former OC is now at LSU with Kelly so that could be a factor.

I don't think so. Had more to do with coaching changes both here and at LSU with Kelly/Denbrock.
