  • All Hail Colerain, #2!

Spent the day at Colerain High School yesterday, where I also serve as a school board member. Had a long chat with our head FB coach, Shaun Cutright, He told me that KC was recently in, and KC said that it is likely that five of the 11 defensive starters for UC this fall will be Colerain guys. Can you imagine that, five starters from one high school!

It does seem that the Colerain pipeline might be slowing down, at least temporarily.

Coreleone... I am told that he is as good, if not better than the great UC Nosegaurd, Tyrell Byrd, another Colerain stud. Willis will be red-shirted.

        A) Corleone ain’t starting over Briggs or Taylor.

        B) Byrd was so great because of his quickness. Corleone does not have the same quickness.

That is not what his coach told me, but we shall see!

His High School coach, not his coach this Fall. There's not doubting Colerain is a football powerhouse, especially amongst public schools. Here's hoping the pipeline doesn't slow too much.

His HS coach told me what one of his current UC coaches had told him!

Colerain has only 2 D-1 prospects for next year.
