Having to play both UH and UC is not very favorable.

SMU hasn't been paying attention. They couldn't beat us in Dallas even when Tuberville was here.

Evan Prater has not gained much weight. No way Ben Bryant would have left a starting job at E. Michigan to come to UC and sit. My money says he will be the starter.

    B.C.

From the article "Ben Bryant and Evan Prater will battle to replace Desmond Ridder under center, but the rest of the supporting cast is strong." I really wish they had an and instead of but. Both Evan and Ben are very good QBs and much ike the guy who followed Peyton at TN, there will be a little dropoff. However, football is won in the trenches as we learned in Dalls, 'Bama has bigger, taller, and longer big nasties. Returning all 5 O-line starters will be the biggest thing going for our 'Cats. I think winning the AAC championship may come down to which team is ranked higher to host it. Beat Arkansas and the path to AAC runs through Clifton in December. I really like our odd playing a warm weather team on a cold Nip at Night.

Howard Schnellenberger touted the "State of Miami" way back in the early '80's.

Gus Malzahn just stole CLF's "State of Cincinnati" recruiting emphasis. The Knights' HC is now touting the "State of Orlando". So far, though, the strength of his 2022 incoming players are through the portal.

FOX Sports seems to think we're the betting favorite in the AAC
