  • Are Deserters Being Targeted by Officials

It seems to me that UC has received more than its fair share of penalties where some obvious ones against our opponents go uncalled. This author points questions concerning higher profile deserters such as UT and USC. Commentary: College football review: Are refs needling USC, Texas and other expansion defectors? (msn.com)

Utah's final two TD drives were aided by questionable roughing the passer calls. Kind of sounds familiar yesterday with SMU.

I have thought the same thing. Too many calls that nearly killed us including a stupid pass interference call last week, and various bad calls yesterday.

I believe OU and Texass are suffering the same fate. This is team will be able to overcome a few questionable PI and holding calls; however, they need to get control of the false starts and personal fouls. I'm not really okay the refs call the ticky tacky stuff, but knowing it means we have to stop the more obvious and hurtful fouls.
