I like th staff and recruiting approach. Cincinnati produce multiple 4 star and some 5 star recruits, along with ten tons of really good, under-rated local players. I also lie the focus thus far in portal/recruiting. Get your QBs and then get a few more, build O-line and D-line with best guys you can get. If our line gives QB enough time, he will make a play happen. We still go after those top WRs and RBs, but really, really good Wrs and RBs look much better when QB has time. Conversely, attacking opposing QB is way to stop or significantly slow most teams. There are very few Wrs and RBs that can create all on their own to make positive from seemingly nothing multiple times per game. The competition is much stiffer next year, and we are still htting portal (plus might get a few HS players in late period).

Wins will be tough to come by in the Big 12, and Satterfield/staff are going to have to trust each other to sneak a few unexpected wins next year. Luke didn't leave the team exactly barren in talent either. The returning players will build that on-field trust with new guys coming in.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

      Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!

Satterfield’s UC press conferences are usually at 12:00 on Tuesday and the next one is on 10/3.

They are now on ESPN+ I noticed tonight. I’m Checking to see whether they are still live on YouTube. They are definitely archived on YouTube if you don’t have ESPN+

Cincinnati (27). The Bearcats are working through a bad case of buyer’s remorse. For reasons that remain unclear—perhaps panic—they hired a heavily unpopular Scott Satterfield away from Louisville, a move that saved the Cardinals the expense of firing him and paved the way to hire massive upgrade Jeff Brohm. Satterfield inherited a Cincinnati program that had waning talent from its recent glory days, just in time for the tougher competition of the Big 12. The result is a 2–7 record, 0–6 in league play. The Bearcats haven’t had more takeaways than giveaways since the season opener against FCS Eastern Kentucky. Satterfield assuredly will be given more than a single rebuilding year, but some of his assistants might not be.
