I find this funny only for the reason that the Bye Weekend was where the @Texas game was supposed to go according to some UC folks in Austin.

they'll take their lumps with the coaching transition and conference transition but how much more fun is this schedule?

This also alleviates some of the ticket pricing issues. There are seven home games for 2023, as opposed to the six played last year.

            @max_olson:

Cincinnati was arguably the biggest winner. Total 2022 wins for 4 teams each one avoids:

            Cincinnati 39
            Oklahoma State 35
            BYU 33
            UCF 33
            Kansas 32
            Oklahoma 32
            TCU 31
            Iowa State 30
            Texas 30
            Kansas State 28
            West Virginia 28
            Baylor 27
            Texas Tech 26
            Houston 24

Is the OK game at Nippert?

What an upgrade this schedule is-looking forward
to UC’s growth in the B12. Having Pitt this year gives a nice BEast vibe.

What a schedule! Has a little of the "be careful what you wish for" vibe to it. 3-9 is not unrealistic but better than playing the Temples of the world.

Here's the full matrix schedule for the conference. Looks like Houston and Oklahoma got ugly schedules.

Baylor got a nice break with an 8 home game schedule.

I am with Red and Black and think 6-6 is doable in year one. Hard to be confident though with all the changes and question marks.
Bearcat Bret you were about to respond when we switched to this thread. what are your thoughts?

I hope that UC can find themselves a REAL quarterback. With that schedule they are, most definitely, going to need one or maybe two. Hoorah!
