Tailgating at Pitt Game?

We're about a month out from the Pitt game. Anyone have an understanding of the tailgate situation near Heinz Field (I refuse to call it anything else)?

There are a few bars there; just wondering if there is also a traditional tailgate area.

When we went last for the pike to binns game we just hung out at the bars/restaurants nearby the stadium. I'm sure there's tailgate lots for Steelers games too but it's not like Nippert where it's a college campus

As a Pennsylvania resident and Steelers fan\former season ticket holder (bring the hate), Im familiar with the stadium area; just havent been for a Pitt game thus far. Had tickets for Pike to Binns, but got sick the morning of and couldnt go.

Anyone planning a tailgate?
It will be the first college football game for my 13 and 15 year olds. We will all go to UCF next year.
