TCU is great historical example of the BIg XII for the last few years outside of Oklahoma. No defense whatsoever.

Wisconsin struggled for a while before pulling away.

Oregon .Yikes that is a lot of points.

Granted that they played OU but Butch Jones seems to be on the downside of his bell curve.

I am surprised by the number of Sunday games today as I was for the Thursday and Friday games.
Teams to keep an eye on this year:
ND over Tenn State 56-3
USC over Nevada 66-14
Utah over Florida 24-11
Minnesota, Nebraska and Purdue suck.
MSU over Central Michigan 31-7 (maybe MSU is better this year)
Miami of OH got crushed by the U 38-3. We have them in two weeks.
Penn State over West Virginia 38-15
Washington over Boise State 56-19
Pitt over Wofford 45-7 (next week's opponent)

It looks like the PAC may have 3-4 contenders this year. The B1G is probably down to 3 teams and all in the west. The SEC did what they always do.

Clemson may be out of the national title game discussion after losing to Duke.

They did win the NC with one loss a few years ago. But I agree their chances were significantly diminished by losing to Duke.

Watching the Northwestern game I really felt bad for Ben B. - he took a beating, but still competed.
